Do we deserve this?

To all the liberated walks on the road,

To the blind man unaware of his freedom,

Didn’t know he was about to be bored,

Pinned up in his own kingdom.

 

The ruination was beyond belief,

Too late to recover,

Deteriorating mankind with grief,

The man will see; what’s about to uncover,

 

Keenness to go through quotidian traffic,

Little things will be appreciated,

No matter how much hectic,

New opportunities will be created,

 

What we’ve done to the planet & ourselves,

Waiting for a loved ones’ kiss,

The only question is on the shelf,

Do we deserve this?
